Run-It uses cookies and similar technologies for security, login, language or consent choices, checkout-related functionality, consent evidence, baseline diagnostics, and consent-gated analytics. You can change your choice at any time through Cookie Settings.
Cookie Categories
- Necessary: required for the site, account security, authentication, session integrity, checkout, consent management, consent evidence, and baseline crash/error diagnostics. The
run_it_analytics_consent_v1preference cookie stores your current analytics choice for up to 180 days on.run-it.ioso the public website and app can respect one choice in the same browser. It is not used as authentication. - Preferences: remember choices you make, such as language or interface preferences, where enabled.
- Statistics: help us understand site and dashboard product usage through tools such as PostHog, only after consent. Website and dashboard analytics include explicit browser events such as page views, feature interactions, integration and sync activity, onboarding or upgrade flow events, and other product usage signals, and may include masked PostHog website and dashboard session recordings after statistics consent; broad PostHog autocapture remains disabled. We do not send background server-side product events to PostHog. Statistics consent may also enable Sentry browser tracing or masked replay where configured.
- Marketing: not currently used for targeted advertising or remarketing.
- Unclassified: shown when Cookiebot detects a cookie or local-storage key that still needs final classification, including the current marketing-auth display markers and PostHog opt-in/out storage key.
One Analytics Choice for the Website and App
Cookiebot is loaded on the public run-it.io website. The app.run-it.io app uses its own equal-choice analytics prompt and the Privacy & Data Usage controls in Settings instead of loading a second Cookiebot banner. Both surfaces read the necessary shared preference cookie described above. A valid choice made in either place is reused in that browser, so you should not be asked twice.
When you are signed in, the app also records minimal versioned consent evidence in our database: the choice, time, source, consent-text version, and withdrawal event. The client does not send an IP address, user-agent string, or editable consent text to that evidence endpoint. This evidence record is not used to authorize analytics; the current browser choice controls whether browser analytics can start.
You can change or withdraw the choice through Cookie Settings on the public website or through Settings in the app. Withdrawal stops browser PostHog and clears its Run-It browser persistence on the app. A different browser or device is not opted in automatically.
Cookiebot Declaration
The declaration below is generated by Cookiebot from cookies detected on the public website. App-specific storage is described above and controlled in app Settings. If the declaration is temporarily unavailable, you can still manage website consent through Cookie Settings.
